Volunteering Volunteers are an integral part of our work at Inspire and help us in a range of ways. But the one key thing that makes our volunteers so special, is that they provide Inspire with the most precious and valuable thing of all – their time!
Whether you can help on a regular basis or just for a couple of hours at an event, your help is very much appreciated by everyone at Inspire.
At Inspire we have the following roles for volunteers:
Our volunteer befrienders spend time with the people we support, getting involved with their interests and hobbies. You could be taking an avid Don’s fan to Pittodrie to watch a game or going ice skating or to the cinema. This one-on-one support means a lot to the people we support.
We are always on the lookout for fundraising volunteers to help at our events – you could be shaking a bucket at a supermarket, football stadium or a fundraising event, marshalling at a running event or helping with registration.
Inspire office support
We are often looking for support within our fundraising team at Inspire’s head office to organise events before the big day. You could be helping to make up event and sponsor packs, signing up participants or helping with mailings.
Why not set up a fundraising group and organise your own calendar of events to raise funds for Inspire?
If you would like to set up a fundraising group to start raising funds for Inspire, simply call Sarah on 01224 289010 or email email@example.com . We can help you with everything you need to get your group off the ground, including lots of great fundraising ideas.
You could also organise your own fundraising event or activity, which is a great way to support Inspire. Whether you are organising a large or small event, or asking for donations from friends and family there are lots of ways you can raise money to support our work.
You could hold a coffee morning, a bike ride, or a sponsored anything……. The list is endless and as creative as your imagination.
And we can help you with everything you will need to get your event started.
