Supported Accommodation:

Increasingly Inspire is offering the option of supported accommodation to its clients.  These innovative housing developments encourage independent living in a safe and secure environment, and enable the individual to make his/her own life choices. 

Advances in technology have helped to make independent living a reality for some of the individuals supported by Inspire, who are now able to hold their own tenancies, with a staff base close-by should they get into difficulties.

A recent study of people with learning disabilities showed that their dreams and aspirations are very similar to the rest of us, with having their own home rating highly. Through Inspire’s supported accommodation projects, these dreams are becoming the reality for many individuals.
